Murata Manufacturing announced on February 4, 2020 that its production subsidiary Fukui Murata Manufacturing has completed a new production building. The investment amount is 29 billion yen for the building. The total building area is approximately 9,300 square meters for the production building and 1,800 square meters for the energy building. The company will establish a system that can meet the medium-to-long-term increase in demand for ceramic parts due to higher functionality of electronic devices and electrification of automobiles.
