EMO Milano 2021 starts today!

“The EMO Milano 2021” starts today.

EMO is held in odd-numbered years, twice in Hannover, Germany, and once in Milan, Italy. This machine tool trade show will be held in Milan for the first time in six years.

The theme is “THE MAGIC WORLD OF METALWORKING”. EMO Milano 2021 will be held for six days from today until October 9. It will be held at the Fiera Milano exhibition hall in Milan. More than 700 companies from 34 countries and regions will participate in the exhibition. Compared to the previous EMO Milano 2015, which brought together about 1,600 companies and organizations, the number of exhibitors has decreased significantly due to COVID-19 spreading. However, the total exhibition area boasts 110,000 square meters.

About 30 Japanese FA companies and organizations will have booths through their local subsidiaries in Europe. They will present latest products, their most popular products, and machining technologies to the European market.

Under the theme of “FEEL THE MAGIC OF OKUMA,” Okuma will showcase a number of machine tools, including its new “MA-600HⅢ” horizontal machining center (MC), which will make its world debut.

Makino Milling Machine will have a booth of more than 600 square meters and will exhibit six machine tools, including the “a800Z” 5-axis MC.

EMO Milano 2021 is expected to help the European market recover further.
