News Digest Publishing, the publisher of SEISANZAI Japan, and Aichi industrial Distributor’s Association have started accepting pre-registrations for “ROBOT TECHNOLOGY JAPAN (RTJ) 2022”, an exhibition specializing in industrial robots and automation systems, on 10 May 2022.
RTJ2022 will be held at Aichi SkyExpo in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture, from June 30 to July 2 this year. The admission fee of 1,000 yen will be waived for those who pre-register for the exhibition. Registration can be made via the official website.
Reservations for seminars to be held on the organizer’s stage at the venue are now also being accepted.
On June 30, the first day of the exhibition, under the theme of “How to Use Robot in the Future,” four major robot manufacturers from Japan and internationally, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, will discuss the topic.
On the second day, July 1, the Japan Factory Automation & Robot System Integrator Association will host “SIer’s Day in Aichi”. The event is designed to promote exchanges among system integrators (SIers) of robots and between SIers and companies considering the introduction of robots. Specific examples of introductions, mainly in the small and medium manufacturing industry, and SIers representing the Central Japan region will be introduced.
On July 2, the third day of the event, entitled “Learning Robot Utilization Methods from New Fields,” start-up companies that adapt robots to agricultural work and outer space operations will take the stage. The seminar will explore hints for achieving next-generation automation in the manufacturing and logistics industries through the efforts of start-up companies that use robots in harsh environments.
Each seminar is free to attend and has a maximum capacity of 240 people. Pre-registration is required and will be accepted on a first-come basis.
RTJ2022 is this year’s first exhibition dedicated to industrial robots and automation systems. The exhibition will feature 199 exhibitors with 1,093 booths (as of April 25). It is the second-largest exhibition of industrial robots and automation systems in Japan, following the INTERNATIONAL ROBOT EXHIBITION (iREX) held in Tokyo.
Not only robot manufacturers, but also companies in a wide range of fields related to automation, such as robot hands, sensors and other peripheral equipment, AGVs, and measurement systems, are scheduled to exhibit.
There will be a “SIer Zone” where SIers who are responsible for on-site installation of robots and system construction will gather. This zone will feature exhibits of “how to use robots” that are practical and close to on-site applications, providing visitors with an opportunity to get a more concrete image of the introduction of industrial robots.
A number of major industrial machinery manufacturers, including machine tool builders, will also be exhibiting, and their exhibits of practical automation systems in which industrial machinery and equipment are linked with industrial robots will also be of great interest.
