FOOMA JAPAN, the largest ever, to be held in June

The Japan Food Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (FOOMA) will hold FOOMA JAPAN 2023, the world’s largest comprehensive food machinery and technology exhibition, at Tokyo Big Sight for four days from June 6 to 9.

A record number of 953 exhibitors will occupy the entire East Exhibition Hall of Tokyo Big Sight. “Robotics, IT, IoT and Foodtech” will account for 5.5% of the exhibitor field, and many food-related robotic systems are expected to be on display. The “Start-up Zone”, which was launched at the previous show, has been expanded to 30 companies, and venture companies will showcase their innovative ideas.

The theme of the exhibition is “Accelerate FOOMA”. Tsuneyuki Minami, Chairperson of the FOOMA JAPAN 2023 Organizing Committee (=center photo), commented, “We hope that FOOMA JAPAN 2023 will be a place where cutting-edge products, technologies and services such as robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), labor saving and automation are gathered to accelerate the creation of new food businesses and solutions to problems”.
