The machine tool trade show “AMB 2024” was held in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, from September 10-14, 2024, attracting 1,244 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions. AMB is widely recognized as one of the largest local trade shows in Germany, particularly attracting visitors from German-speaking countries. Held in a region known for its concentration of manufacturing industries, the event saw numerous business negotiations taking place in front of live machine demonstrations. This year, automation solutions received special attention, particularly those that address the severe labor shortage in Europe.

German company HELLER presented an automation solution combining the HF 3500 5-axis horizontal machining center with a robotic cell.
ZOLLER from Germany presented its new automated tool measurement system “coraMeasureLG”.
A special smart factory exhibit supported by partners such as FANUC and CITIZEN MACHINERY.
DMG MORI showcased flexible automation with the “PH-AMR 750” autonomous pallet handling robot.
South Korea’s DN Solutions held a launch ceremony for its new multi-tasking machine, the “DNX Series,” on the opening day.
GF Machining Solutions from Switzerland made the world debut of its 5-axis machining center “MILL X 400 U”.
German company GROB-WERKE unveiled the “G920F5” 5-axis machining center, which is designed for large workpieces produced by giga-casting.
