Amada has released the “ALCIS-1008e,” a 3D laser integrated system equipped with two laser oscillators—a blue laser and a fiber laser—supporting cutting, welding, and additive manufacturing (AM) in a single machine.
High-power blue laser scanner head for EV motor components
The newly released model features a scanner head specification with a high-power blue laser oscillator, making it suitable for hairpin welding of rectangular copper wires used in electric vehicle motors and busbar welding.
An optional “welding position sensing” function automatically generates processing programs based on camera-captured images.
