DENSO WAVE launched a collaborative robot, COBOTTA with small size, incorporating Canon’s Vision Edition-C of image processing software in late December, 2019.
When combined with a camera, labels can be applied according to the position and orientation of the object. In addition, operations requiring confirmation by human eyes, such as automatically reading numbers and barcodes, can be automated. By installing other company’s software in COBOTTA, the usage can be expanded. This is the first stage, and compatible software will be added sequentially.
