Toshiba Carrier establishes new factory of air conditioning equipment in Poland

Toshiba Carrier announced on January 21, 2020 that it established a new manufacturing subsidiary in Gniezno, a mid-western city of Poland. The amount of investment will be 3.0 billion yen. The new manufacturing subsidiary is scheduled to start its operation before the end of 2020. The company will strengthen its business in the European market, where air conditioning equipment and heating and hot water equipment are expected to continue growing. The company will reduce lead time to about two-thirds and reduce costs. In addition, it will enhance local fit products and expand its product lineup.
