Toshiba Carrier announced on January 24, 2020 that it has completed a new R＆D building for air conditioners “e-Third” at Fuji Factory in Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The building has four floors with a total floor area of 20,000 square meters. The company will start operations in May 2020. Toshiba Carrier considered e-Third as a main building of technological development and will strengthen its research and development capabilities for products and solutions for domestic and overseas markets.
