MISUMI GROUP announced on May 25, that it will start same-day shipping of mold parts, ejector pins, through its digital service of parts procurement, “meviy”. The ejector pin is used to remove the molded product from the mold, and requires precision machining in the micron order. Ejector pins need to be replaed as soon as the mold design is changed or the mold got be damaged.
The company has shortened the delivery time from 4 days to same day seriveces in response to the customer’s desire for short-term shipping.
