JIMTOF2020 Online started! The online exhibition will be held until November 27th.

“JIMTOF 2020 Online” started from November 16th. The web show was held in place of the “30th Japan International Machine Tool Fair (JIMTOF2020)”, which was canceled due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, and 393 companies from Japan and overseas exhibited. It will be held until November 27th.

This online event requires pre-registration, and the top page is divided into nine areas by product category such as machine tools, metal forming machines, and tools for machines. Business card exchange system, chat, and questionnaire functions are also available, allowing exhibitors and visitors to communicate in both directions. On each exhibitors’ page, they promote new products and recommended products through videos, photos, and texts.

Exhibitors also held their own web exhibitions at the same time. DMG MORI opened “DMG MORI Online Technology Days” and introduced large-scale automation systems in detail. Large-scale automation systems are generally difficult to install in face-to-face exhibitions. However, the cyber world has no restrictions on exhibition space, and DMG MORI has taken advantage of the web.

In addition, Okuma holds “WEB　OKUMA　MACHINE　FAIR　-JIMTOF2020-” and unveiled 20 models including new products including double-column machining center.
