GENETEC promotes DX at the manufacturing site

On April 23, 2021, GENETEC, which sells 3D CAD / CAM software “Mastercam”, announced that it would collaborate with BIRD INITIATIVE in the field of digital solutions for factories. BIRD INITIATIVE is a start-up that develops digital transformation (DX) technology for the manufacturing industry.

Through this collaboration, GENETEC will integrate the simulation software “FlexSim” that can visualize the production line of the factory and the solution “assimee” that combines BIRD INITIATIVE’s simulation technology and artificial intelligence technology. These combining digital solution can realize the construction of a production system with digital twins and the improvement of equipment operation efficiency.
