JTEKT, a leading maker of automotive parts and machine tools, announced on June 22, 2021 that it will establish a sales company, JTEKT Sales. JTEKT sales will be established by merging three subsidiaries that sell machine tools, transmission equipment, and bearings. The address of the head office is Chuo-ku, Osaka.
The companies to be merged are Koyo Nichijiku, Koyo Kyuei, and Shizuoka Koyo . The total sales of the three companies in FY2019 were about 12.5 billion yen. Through the merger of the three companies, JTEKT will expand its product and sales network and enhance the sales force of the entire group.
