Machine tool builder JTEKT announced on August 4, 2021 that it has linked the software “Operation Up Navi” that visualizes information of production equipment with the production planning solution “SynPLA” of IT company Hitachi Solutions.
SynPLA is a package software to make a production schedule plan at a manufacturing site. By introducing both products, users will be able to set up production schedules, which utilize achievement data of production equipment.
Since December 2019, the two companies have been collaborating to realize a smart factory.
