Robot manufacturer DENSO WAVE has unveiled its new collaborative robot (Cobot) “COBOTTA PRO” for the first time in the world at open house, which has been held since March3, 2022.

Combines safety and speed even when workers are nearby.

Its greatest feature is its speed of operation. “COBOTTA PRO” can operate at high speed when the operator is not nearby. “COBOTTA PRO 900” has a tool center point (TCP) speed of up to 2100 mm/sec, while “COBOTTA PRO 1300” has a TCP speed of up to 2500 mm/sec. It is suitable for applications such as supplying parts to machine tools.

This cobot features easy programming and teaching as well. It is equipped with the newest model “RC9” controller.

Demonstration of product picking in a retail store. The latest controller “RC9” enables integrated control of multiple peripheral devices in addition to the robot itself.

“COBOTTA PRO” is available in two models: “COBOTTA PRO 900”, which can carry 6 kg and has a maximum reach of 908 mm, and “COBOTTA PRO 1300”, which can carry 12 kg and has a maximum reach of 1303 mm. Both models are open price and will be available from April this year.
