TOYO’s Premium Fair attracts 3,800 visitors

Toyo, a machine tool distributors in Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture, held the “Premium Fair 2018” at the Kariya City Industrial Promotion Center on March 8 and 9, 2018. A total of 3,800 people visited the fair despite the rain.
Approximately 80 companies, including machine tool builders, robot manufacturers, cutting tool manufacturers, and peripheral manufacturers, exhibited their products in the fair.
Opening hour was from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM. This made it easier for visitors, such as parts manufacturers or parts processors, who have difficulty leaving their workplace during daytime.
Before the opening, President Shojiro Haga told the employees, “It is the unfortunate weather, but the weather has not dampened the customer’s appetite for investment and purchasing. I want you to explain the best products with enthusiasm. Customers don’t mind the rain!”
Akiharu Nagahama, president of NIKKEN KOSAKUSHO WORKS, said on behalf of the exhibitors, “Now is the beginning of the of manufacturing with wisdom and ingenuity. I am looking for the goods and automation to compensate for the shortage of labor, and would like to propose them to the visitor.”
