Next big show: JIMTOF2022

The Japan International Machine Tool Fair (JIMTOF) is held every two years and is one of the four world’s top machine tool trade shows along with IMTS in the U.S., EMO in Europe, and CIMT in China. Since many of the machine tool builders exhibiting at JIMTOF announce new products and technologies with the show, it has become a trade fair where visitors can experience the cutting edge of global manufacturing. JIMTOF2022, which will be held again in-person for the first time in four years, marks its 60th anniversary this year and will be held at Tokyo Big Sight on the largest scale ever.

This year’s exhibition theme is “Open the door to the future-Meet the technologies moving the world forward.” The theme expresses the hope that JIMTOF will lead to great encounters and industrial breakthroughs.

In the newly constructed South Hall, a special program, “Additive Manufacturing Area in JIMTOF2022,” takes place. All the additive manufacturing equipment and related products, which are one of the hottest trends in the manufacturing industry, will be brought together to present their innovative technologies.
