Japanese machine builder NISSEI PLASTIC INDUSTRIAL announced the reopening of the “NISSEI School”, a training institute for injection molding. The school had been closed since March 2020 due to COVID-19. Since then, the school has only offered online training, but on April 14, it began accepting applications for the face-to-face training program for fiscal year 2023 (May 2023-April 2024).
The training will include courses on injection molding machine operation, setup, and mold fundamentals, depending on the student’s level of expertise. To make the training more convenient for students, some of the courses have been revised by concentrating the content and shortening the schedule compared to the previous program.
The school will also resume in-class training at overseas locations in the U.S., China, and other regions with revised schedules and numbers of participants.
