DMG MORI establishes a new company with Nomura Research Institute

On May 16, 2018, DMG MORI announced that they established a new company called “Technium” with Nomura Research Institute in January this year.

By combining the expertise of the two companies, the new company was launched with the aim of further improving the productivity of the manufacturing industry.   

The new company provides systems and services that support the advanced use of manufacturing facilities through digital technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT). The service will be provided from June, 2018.  In addition, the company unify management of information on production facilities and human resources for each customer.  They also provide guidance on how to use the latest software and machine tools to customer.
