Sodick moved its Sendai sales office to a new location in Sendai City and opened a new “Sendai Technical Center”, which became operational on August 1. The center functions as a sales office and showroom. The total area of the center is approximately 1,191 square meters. The showroom is equipped with eight of the company’s latest machines. There are also plans to offer technical training on wire EDMs and other equipment in the near future. For environmental friendliness, the center is equipped with a photovoltaic power generation system and electric vehicle charging facilities.
The company moved to the new location to increase its workforce, expand its inventory of parts and materials, and improve its support system.
