Toyo Advanced Technologies establishes local subsidiary in China

– Operation started on October 9th to enhance after-sales service and sales activities in China – 

Toyo Advanced Technologies (Head Office: Minami-ku, Hiroshima; President: Yuichi Hayano) has established a wholly owned local subsidiary “Shanghai Toyo Advanced Technologies” in Shanghai, P.R. China. The new subsidiary commenced operations on October 9. 

Toyo Advanced Technologies had been providing operational support for the machine tool business in China through its representative office in Shanghai, but the company decided to establish a local subsidiary to further improve customer satisfaction and penetrate its brand in the Chinese market. 

 In China, the semiconductor, consumer electronics and automobile markets are expected to continue to expand, and demand is expected to grow not only for internal grinding machines and semiconductor manufacturing equipment, where Toyo Advanced Technologies has particular strengths, but also for gear grinding machines used in electric vehicle (EV) parts. With the operation of the local subsidiary, the company will strengthen after-sales service and sales activities in China, contributing to the productivity improvement of its customers and promoting the development of new customers.
