Mitsubishi Electric announced on November 28 that it has agreed a strategic partnership with ModuleWorks, a leading provider of software components for the digital manufacturing industry in Germany. The partnership aims to further strengthen the existing cooperation and accelerate development. The two companies expect to strengthen software development for machine tool simulation and data integration with CAD/CAM, leading to safer machine operation and reduced engineering workload. By optimizing the engineering chain, the partnership aims to help solve problems such as labor shortages and knowledge transfer.
