CITIZEN MACHINERY (Nagano, Japan; President: Hideo Ina) announced on March 21 that a nature reserve on the grounds of its headquarters has been certified as a “Nature Symbiosis Site,” a biodiversity conservation area designated by the Ministry of the Environment of Japan. The certified Citizen Machinery nature reserve has been confirmed to be inhabited by several rare species in a biological survey conducted by specialists. The Citizen Group is participating in the “30by30 Alliance for Biodiversity” led by the Ministry of Environment, and this is the first time it has been certified.
