CITIZEN MACHINERY to double casting machining capacity at Vietnam plant

On October 18, CITIZEN MACHINERY (Miyota, Nagano, Japan; President: Hideo Ina) announced plans to construct a new machining building at CITIZEN MACHINERY VIETNAM, which manufactures castings for Cincom brand sliding headstock CNC automatic lathes. The expansion is expected to increase machining space by approximately 150%, doubling the facility’s casting machining capacity from its current level. Construction is scheduled to begin in March 2025 and is expected to be completed by August of the same year. With this expansion of its Vietnamese facility, the company aims to establish a more stable product supply system early on and achieve annual sales of 100 billion yen by fiscal 2030.
