August 16, 2018

On June 1 2018, H-One which manufacture automotive frame parts announced that the plant restructuring plan based on the introduction of large-scale presses in Kameyama Plant.

The investment amount is approximately 1.5 billion yen.

Electric vehicles (EVs) are heavier than gasoline-powered vehicles because of batteries, and as EVs become widespread, they are required to be lightweight and have a strong rigidity.

They aimed at the mass-production processing of high tensile strength steel sheet and ultra-high tensile strength steel sheet.

The 3000-ton class servo transfer press will be introduced and will be put into operation in 2019.
