TOYO holds annual private show with 70th anniversary celebration

January 27, 2025

TOYO, a machinery trading company (Kariya City, Aichi, Japan; President: Iichiro Haga), held its private exhibition “TOYO One-Man Show 2025” on January 16 and 17 at the Kariya City Industrial Promotion Center. The event, themed “The Future of Sustainable Manufacturing,” featured a record 81 exhibitors and welcomed 3,978 visitors over the two days, mainly from the automotive industry.

In his opening remarks, President Haga said, “While global uncertainty remains due to the slowdown in the shift to electric vehicles and developments under the new U.S. administration, we must not stop our pursuit of a sustainable future.”

At the show, SMC introduced the “single-hole nozzle”, a blowing nozzle that reduces air consumption. By attaching the nozzle to the tip of a pipe, it can cut air flow in half without reducing pressure. KOSMEK (Kobe City, Japan; President & CEO: Koji Kimura) introduced its “wireless sensing clamp,” which can monitor clamping conditions using wireless communication instead of traditional air-based methods.

In addition, TOYO celebrated its 70th anniversary this year. On January 15, the day before the event, the company held a commemorative event, “70th Anniversary Gratitude Gathering,” in Nagoya City, attended by approximately 350 guests, to mark this significant milestone.
