DMG MORI develops Robo2Go Open workpiece handling system with intuitive operation

DMG MORI has developed the workpiece handling automation system “Robo2Go Open.” The system maintains the functionality of “MATRIS Light,” a robot system featuring a collaborative robot mounted on a hand-pushed cart, while incorporating a more intuitive application interface. The product has also been renamed to reflect these enhancements.

Easy operation via machine control panel and touch screen

The Robo2Go Open application can be operated directly from the machine tool’s control panel. Motion programs can be created easily via the touch screen, enabling intuitive operation.

Compatible with a wide range of machines and retrofit installations

The system is compatible with a wide range of DMG MORI products, including 5-axis machining centers and multitasking machines. It can also be retrofitted to existing equipment.
