Urano, a company specializing in aircraft parts processing, has begun construction of a new plant in Isesaki City, Gunma Prefecture. The total investment for land and buildings is approximately 3.3 billion yen. The new factory will have a total floor area of 11,000 square meters.
The company aims to further expand its core business in aircraft parts manufacturing. Some functions will be transferred from the current headquarters plant to the new facility. In addition to aircraft components, the plant will also produce parts for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, where demand continues to grow.
The new factory will be equipped with IoT-enabled systems to improve productivity.
