Sodick showcases V-LINE injection molding machine MS50G2 at Osaka private show

Sodick held the “Sodick West Japan Branch Private Show 2026” at its West Japan Branch Osaka Technical Center. The event featured the company’s latest injection molding and electrical discharge machining (EDM) technologies. The show also included the “V-LINE Circular Eco Tour @ Osaka,” which highlighted Sodick’s proprietary V-LINE injection molding mechanism.

At the exhibition, Sodick displayed the injection molding machine “MS50G2,” equipped with the company’s proprietary “V-LINE-Complete” mechanism. The V-LINE system separates the plasticizing process from the injection process. Building on this, V-LINE-Complete technology further removes water vapor and gases generated from the resin and exhausts them outside the machine. This eliminates the need for a separate resin dryer, reducing both electricity consumption and maintenance requirements in the molding process.

Demonstrations and digital monitoring solutions

Sodick also demonstrated automatic wire threading using its wire EDM “AL400G,” in conditions where automatic threading is typically difficult. In addition, the company exhibited “SatelinC,” a tablet-based remote monitoring NC system that allows users to monitor machine operations remotely.
