ZOLLER Japan (Suita, Osaka; President Hajime Ryuguchi), the Japanese subsidiary of Germany’s ZOLLER specializing in cutting tool measuring instruments, held “ZOLLER HUB 2026.” The event exhibited tool presetters such as “smile” and tool measuring machines including “genius.”
Integration of measurement and grinding
The highlight of this exhibition was the combination of the company’s tool measuring machines and the “VGrind infinity LINEAR” tool grinding machine from German tool grinding machine manufacturer VOLLMER.
The machining program from the VGrind infinity LINEAR is imported into the tool measuring machine. When there is a difference from the measurement results, the tool measuring machine automatically generates a machining program including correction data.
“We want to promote that we are a tool presetter manufacturer that also develops and manufactures tool measuring machines,” said President Ryuguchi.
