In September 2018, Murata Manufacturing began construction of a new factory of a local subsidiary in Vanda, Finland. Investment amount is about 5 billion yen. The total floor area is about 16,000 square meters.
At the new plant, Murata will increase the production capacity of sensors using minute electric signals, such as acceleration sensors, gyro sensors, and tilt angle sensors.
