Lathe with machine width of only 1360mm is unveiled

The strength of Takamatsu Machinery is medium-and small-sized lathes for the automobile industry.

XT-6, 6-inch lathe with a machine width of only 1360 mm, was newly announced at this exhibition.

It’s possible to work with various automated peripheral devices that the company has specialized in.

At the venue, “XT-6” was connected to the compact machining center “MTV-T360” by Nippon Mektron by a compact loader.

As a compact automated system combining lathes and milling, it meets the need of high-value-added and labor-saving production.

Takamaz-Emag, a group company, proposed skiving of the gear portion of the shaft with a vertical CNC lathe “VT2-4”.

President Yohei Nakanishi said, “it will be delivered in 5 to 7 months, and of course automation is possible.”

Takamaz-Emag was established in 2003 as a joint venture with German machine-tool builder Emag.

Products of all Emag Group companies has been sold.
