Toyota Boshoku announced on June 18, 2019 that it had expanded and started operation of a plant in Toyota Boshoku Tennessee, affiliated corporation in U.S.
The amount of investment is approximately 3 billion in three years from 2017.
The expansion area is about 13,000 square meters. The total building area is about 30,000 square meters, an increase of about 1.8 times compared to the conventional ratio.
The company will consolidate the production of press parts for seat frames of automobiles produced in the U.S. into a new factory to improve productivity.
