On December 1st, 2017, CKD, maker of mechanism components, announced that it concluded a contract for joint development of electric motor equipment with TOYO (Tainan City, Taiwan). Both companies are developing a motor-integrated electric actuator.
CKD incorporates its motor control technology and the pneumatic cylinder core technology are into TOYO’s electric equipment to produce highly competitive products. They will launch its product in spring. CKD invests about 500 million yen in TOYO and obtains 10% of its stock to promote joint developments and strengthen relationships.
