Mazda launches CX-30 with new generation gasoline engine “SKYACTIV-X”

On January 16, 2020, Mazda Motor launched MAZDA CX-30, Crossover SUV, with new generation gasoline engine “SKYACTIV-X” that practically uses compression ignition of gasoline engines through Mazda dealers throughout Japan.

“SKYACTIV-X”, which is newly installed on the CX-30, combines the advantages of a gasoline engine with high growth up to high speed and the features of a diesel engine with excellent fuel efficiency, torque and responsiveness. “SKYACTIV-X” is Mazda’s original new-generation gasoline engine that offers both driving and environmental performance. In addition, the adoption of the mild hybrid system “M Hybrid” will support efficient fuel consumption. The price is from 3,294,500 yen including consumption tax.
