SG HOLDINGS completed the next-generation large-scale logistics center in Tokyo

SG HOLDINGS completed the next-generation large-scale logistics center “X Frontier” in koto-ward, Tokyo on January 31, 2020. The site area is 73,261 square meters and the total floor area is 170,029 square meters.

X Frontier’s transfer center has a total of 296 truck berths, including 60 location to unload and 236 locations to load. Transfer center is capable of handling about 100,000 pieces of luggage per hour in up to 236 directions with five types of automatic sorting machines. This will consolidate multiple relay centers in the Kanto region to improve transportation speed and capacity, reduce the number of trunk transportation trucks, and improve the loading ratio.
