SINFONIA TECHNOLOGY announced on January 24, 2020 the expansion of its clean transport equipment plant at Toyohashi Plant. The investment amount is about 1.6 billion yen, and the total floor area of the new building is 4,180 square meters. As the demand from
the semiconductor industry increased, the production capacity of the old factory reached its limit and the building was expanded. The ratio of high-value-added products, such as modular parts for composite parts, which are configured for the purpose of transporting wafers, will be increased by using the enhanced facilities. The company will also develop regenerative medicine-related technologies that apply clean transport technology. The new building starts operation on March 2, 2020.
