Seiko Epson completed construction of a new plant for digital inkjet textile printer

Seiko Epson announced on March 4, 2020 that it had completed construction of its Innovation Center Building B at the Hirooka Office in Shiojiri City, Nagano Prefecture. The investment amount is about 16 billion yen and the total floor area is about 39,000 square meters. The new building has four floors, and the first and second floors will be used for prototypes and mass production plant of home digital inkjet textile printer and the exhibition area for digital printing solutions. The third and fourth floors are office areas. The Innovation Center Building B will start operation in April 2020. The company will set up a prototype and mass-production system for inkjet digital textile printer to strengthen its R & D and production capabilities.
