Tungaloy has expanded its range of highly efficient cutters using single-sided, 4-corner inserts with additional inserts of accuracy grade M (JIS standard). A total of five types are available as standard: two low resistance types with reduced cutting resistance due to the positive insert, and three flat types with a strengthened cutting edge. The low resistance type, which reduces cutting resistance during machining, is particularly suitable for machining high-temperature alloys and stainless steel, and the flat type, which has a high strength cutting edge, is suitable for machining a wide range of processing from a general hard material to heat-resistant alloys.
