AISIN SEIKI announced on April 30, 2020 that it will produce a cot bed and a partition wall to support medical sites that diagnose and treat coronavirus infections. 2 cots bed and 16 partition walls will be produced per day to provide to medical sites. AISIN SEIKI designed the cot bed base and partition wall by utilizing the technology and know-how cultivated in the development and production of automobile parts, as well as the experience of developing household products such as sewing machines and beds. In addition, the company will produce face masks for employees at its own group facilities from early June in order to cope with the shortage of face masks due to the spread of COVID-19.
