YASKAWA Electric announced on April 10, 2020 that it has agreed with YE DIGITAL to establish a joint venture for the Internet of Things (IoT) solution business for manufacturing industries. It will be established in July 2020. The capital is 50 million yen, and YASKAWA Electric has a 60% stake and YE DIGITAL has a 40% stake.
YASKAWA Electric has promoted the concept of ” i³-Mechatronics ” that solves problems by combining mechatronics technology and digital data management. The company aims to further strengthen it by combining with YE DIGITAL ‘s IoT technology.
