STAR MICRONICS announced on September 4, 2020 that it has opened a solution center at Kikugawa Factory in Kikugawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The total investment is about 1.4 billion yen.
The solution center has a three-story with steel-frame construction, including showroom and the space for NC school on the 1st floor. A reception room and a large conference room were set up on the 2nd floor, and a sales office was set up on the 3rd floor. The total floor area is about 3600 square meters.
STAR MICRONICS displays 10 automatic machines in the showroom as permanent exhibits on the 1st floor to respond to customer requests for test cutting and strengthen the before-sale service.
Solution center also has a measurement room equipped with the latest automatic measuring equipment, in addition to testing room where product testing can be performed in a more rigorously temperature-controlled environment. The company pursues high quality product development.
STAR MICRONICS aims to improve customer satisfaction by focusing on the development of machining technology and application software which can solve problems of customers. Besides, the company will hold open houses and technical seminars not only onsite but also online to strengthen information dissemination.
