Citizen launches CNC lathe that enables complex shaped workpieces machining

Citizen Machinery will launch a model of Sliding Headstock Type Automatic CNC Lathe “Cincom L32 Ⅻ” equipped with an automatic tool changer that automatically changes the B-axis tool used for diagonal machining in April, 2020. The automatic tool changer can change the tool in just 4 seconds. It is possible to set 13 B-axis tools in one setup.

New machine enables complex shapes machining such as implants used in medical treatment, and can continuously machine multiple parts with one setup. It achieves reduction of downtime and high-mix low-volume production. The maximum machining diameter of the workpiece is 32 mm.
