Yamazen signed capital business alliance with AI software start-up

Yamazen, a leading machinery trading company, announced on March 1, 2021 that it signed a business alliance agreement involving a capital investment in Ascent Robotics, which develops and sells artificial intelligence (AI) software for robots. The conclusion date is January 31, 2021. With this alliance, Yamazen will strengthen sales of robot systems equipped with Ascent Robotics software.

Ascent Robotics is an AI start-up founded in 2016, providing software and solutions for robots. The company aims to promote labor saving and automation in a wide range of industries and companies.

As the first business after the alliance, the company has developed an automation solution that combines the picking software “Ascent Pick 1.0” and a collaborative robot developed by Taiwan TechMan Robot handled by Yamazen.
