On March 22, 2021, Mitutoyo, a leading measuring equipment manufacturer, signed a mutual sales tie-up with sensor maker OPTEX FA for displacement sensors.
With this alliance, Mitutoyo will sell OPTEX FA displacement sensors in Japan. It is scheduled to start on June 1, 2021. The two companies will not only strengthen the sales alliance, but also strengthen the technical alliance including joint development of displacement sensors and peripheral technologies.
OPTEX FA has a wide lineup of laser displacement sensors. The company’s products are widely adopted in the field of factory automation.
