Iwata Tool relocates its Thai subsidiary

On February 19, 2021, cutting tool maker Iwata Tool announced that it had built a new office building of its affiliated corporation in Thailand, “Iwata Tool (Thailand)”, and started operations. The new office building has 5 floors. The investment amount is not disclosed.

Iwata Tool (Thailand) manufactures and sells cutting tools. The new office building will have factories on the 1st and 2nd floors, and will increase the monthly production capacity of cutting tools from the conventional 40,000 to 70,000. As a result, Iwata Tool will strengthen its supply system of cutting tools for overseas markets.

The third floor and above of the new office building will be used for sales offices, showrooms, warehouses, etc. Iwata Tool will strengthen sales to Southeast Asia such as Thailand with the construction of a new office building.
