Okuma strengthens sales in the western Japan area

Okuma, a one of leading machine tool builder in Japan, established the “West Japan CS Center” in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture, and started operations on May 6, 2021.

The western Japan area includes Okayama and Hiroshima Prefecture, Shikoku region, and Sanin region. Okuma relocated and expanded its sales office in Okayama Prefecture to Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture. With the establishment of the West Japan CS Center, the company will offer more community-based sales and service to the customers in the West Japan area.

There is a showroom at the West Japan CS Center, where 6 latest machine tools such as 5-axis machines are on display. The area of the showroom is about 200㎡. The showroom also has the latest 3D measuring machines, allowing Okuma to respond customer test cut requests quickly. There are 15 workers at West Japan CS Center.
