JTEKT, a maker of automobile parts and machine tools, announced on May 31, 2021 that it has developed a “cycle recorder function” that analyzes the causes of equipment troubles. This new function will be installed in JTEKT’s programmable logic controller “TOYOPUC-Nano Series”.
Through the cycle recorder function, operators can analyze camera image and operation history when equipment trouble occurs like a dashboard camera. The operators can check its information at a glance with tablet terminal. The target is the manufacturing industry. The company aims to sell 400 units per year.
