JIMTOF2022 will be held on the largest scale ever

The Japan Machine Tool Builders’ Association（JMTBA）and Tokyo Big Sight will hold “The 31st Japan International Machine Tool Fair（JIMTOF 2022）” at Tokyo Big Sight over six days from November 8^th to 13th, 2022.

JIMTOF, one of the world’s largest international technology shows, brings together cutting-edge technologies and products. The trade fair is a comprehensive showcase of items from across the manufacturing spectrum, from machine tools and peripherals of all kinds. This time, JIMTOF marks its sixtieth anniversary, and this time’s fair will be

the biggest ever. JIMTOF is expanding its venue, using the South Halls of Tokyo Big Sight for the first time in addition to the East and West Halls, and the total exhibition area will cover 118,540 square meters.

While the physical exhibition remains its main focus, JIMTOF 2022 will augment its online presence to support the visitor experience. JMTBA and Tokyo Big Sight will use digital PR tools to build anticipation in the lead-up to the event, and the experience of the fair itself will be made smoother than ever by enhanced online catalogue functions and the expanded information delivery services JMTBA and Tokyo Big Sight will offer from the official website.

JMTBA and Tokyo Big Sight will accept exhibition applications from October.

The application period is from October 1st to 31st for organizers, cooperating organizations and overseas industry associations, and from November 1st to 30th for non-members in Japan and overseas. Applicants can apply through the JIMTOF official website.
