On August30th, 2020, DMG MORI has launched its flexible robot system“MATRIS Light” for immediate automation at the time when needed.
MATRIS Light consists of a collaborative robot mounted on a hand cart for free movement. Just one operator is enough to move the cart in front of a machine tool in use and automate workpiece loading and unloading within short time. When needs change, MATRIS Light can be flexibly moved to the next machine in need of automation to quickly support production, for example when the operator is absent.
It is a compact floor space with 1.4 square meters. Maximum transfer weight is 5 kg.
Furthermore, DMG MORI offers a wide range of peripheral equipment to build up an even more advanced automation system.
